Introducing the IEPI Communications Center

IEPI is excited to unveil our new online Communications Center, the official source for news, opinions, and stakeholder updates related to California’s Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative (IEPI).

As you know, IEPI seeks to advance the effectiveness of California Community Colleges, reduce accreditation sanctions and audit issues, and enhance the ability of administrators, faculty and staff to serve students effectively. But in order to be effective, stakeholders need to know what services and resources are available to them and what the latest IEPI developments are. This is where our new Communications Center comes in.

As part of our ongoing quest to improve the services and support we provide to the system, the new Communications Center will serve to raise awareness about our services while increasing system-wide engagement. The Communications Center will also allow us to move our bi-monthly newsletter to a more modern and user-friendly, web-based format.

In addition to information about IEPI workshops, Partnership Resource Teams (PRTs), new additions to the Professional Learning Network, and IEPI-related news, the Communications Center will feature real stories from CCC faculty, staff, and administrators about their experiences with IEPI.

Recurring news sections include “What’s New,” which will focus on the latest IEPI news and developments; “Technical Assistance,” which will feature real-world stories about how PRTs are helping colleges, districts and centers with self-identified issues; and the “Executive Vice Chancellor’s Column,” which will give Executive Vice Chancellor Theresa Tena a forum to explore topics related to IEPI.

The Communications Center will go live in April 2018, and content will be updated regularly, so don’t forget to check in and see what’s new!
